Curl Jar Curl Activator 250ml
£28.00

A lightweight curl activator that enhances natural texture, adds definition and helps control frizz while leaving curls soft, bouncy and full of movement. It gives the hair a beautifully defined finish without stiffness or crunch.

Best for: Wavy, curly and coily textures wanting definition, shine and soft, flexible hold while maintaining natural movement.

Why I recommend it: Curl Jar is a firm favourite in the salon and a product I use regularly across a wide range of curl patterns. It gives really consistent definition, helping curls form and sit together beautifully while keeping the hair soft, touchable and full of bounce. I particularly love the balance it gives between definition and flexibility — curls look polished and controlled without feeling heavy, sticky or overly styled.

It's also a product I know and trust well, having worked closely with Curl Jar and used it extensively on textured hair in the salon.

How to use: Apply to clean, wet or damp hair and distribute evenly through sections. Smooth or brush through to encourage definition, then scrunch to enhance your natural curl pattern. Air dry or diffuse, then gently scrunch once fully dry if needed.

Pair with: A stronger hold gel on top if you want additional hold, frizz control and longevity.

Innersense Hydrating Cream Hairbath 295ml
£28.00

A rich, creamy cleanser that gently removes buildup while helping to replenish moisture in dry, thirsty hair, leaving it feeling noticeably softer, smoother and more nourished after washing.

Best for: Medium to thick hair, drier or coarser textures, and hair that benefits from a richer, more moisturising cleanse.

Why I recommend it: This is a staple for me in the salon when I'm working with thicker or particularly dry hair. It has a lovely rich, creamy feel and cleanses really well without taking away the softness the hair needs. After washing, the hair feels hydrated and supple rather than stripped, with a noticeable softness and shine that gives you a really good foundation before conditioning and styling.

How to use: Apply to wet hair and massage thoroughly into the scalp, working the cleanser through the hair as you rinse. Repeat if needed.

Pair with: Hydrating Cream Conditioner for a richer, moisture-focused wash-day routine.

Innersense I Create Hold Styling Gel 295ml
£26.00

A versatile styling gel that gives strong, long-lasting hold and definition while helping to control frizz and keep styles in place.

Best for: Wavy, curly and coily textures, or anyone wanting stronger hold, longer-lasting definition and more control.

Why I recommend it: I Create Hold is one of my go-to gels in the salon because it gives reliable hold across a wide range of textures. It creates a good cast as the hair dries, helping curls stay defined for longer, which can then be gently broken for a softer, bouncier finish. It's also great for sleek styles where more control is needed.

How to use: Apply to wet hair and distribute evenly. Style as desired and allow to dry fully before gently breaking the cast if a softer finish is preferred.

Pair with: Quiet Calm Curl Control underneath for additional moisture and softness.
